A friend told me to check out the huge savings I could find at this eyeglass site. That $8000 Tax Credit has been extended

The present administration has chosen to extend and even expand on that $8000 tax credit. As there will probably not be another extension, qualified homebuyers must act on this now and so they can have a binding written contract on a home by the cut off date of April 30, 2010. They must then be able to close on that home by June 30, 2010 to reap the reward of that $8,000 tax credit. The tax credit has been expanded so it incorporates not only first time home buyers, but those who have not owned a home in the past three years. Additionally, home owners who resided in their currently owned home for at least five of the past eight years can qualify for a tax credit of up to sixty five hundred dollars ($6500). This is good news to the tax paying public who thought they had lost out on the $8000 tax credit initially, and excellent news to some who could not quite qualify previously.

The income limit is the same for either first time home buyers or current home owners, and that is $125,000 for singles and $225,000 for married couples. This $8000 tax credit extension is good news for many wanting to be home owners.

A great way to pass the ‘time’ on our 40th wedding anniversary

My wife and I just celebrated a milestone in our lives, our 40th wedding anniversary. It’s amazing how time flies when you’re with the one you were put on this earth to spend your life with. I think I’ve been a frustrated cowgirl all my life and always wanted to own my own horse. So I guess it’s only natural that I enjoy watching the competition at the National Finals Rodeo. I love attending the National Finals Rodeo whenever possible. Last year I had tickets that were so-so and I plan on getting better seats this time. I found out that sitting up close is not necessarily the best because there is so much missed that happening on the other side. Upper seating gives the best view of it overall. A friend and I are going to buy our seats through a business that comes highly recommended by another friend who’s used them before. At the NFR Tickets plaza when I buy early I know there will be a great choice in seating at reasonable prices.

I am looking forward to seeing the best in rodeo competition again this year. Colin McTaggart is my favorite bull rider, and I will definitely be rooting for Chuck Schmidt to win in saddle bronk riding. From what I’ve heard the National Finals Rodeo at Las Vegas will be even bigger and better than last year and I will most definitely be looking forward to it. I’ll post my view on it after attending this years competition.

Special economic zones, as the name suggests are areas of specific economic activities where the economic laws are more liberal than the laws governing the economy of the country. By declaring a geographical area as a special economic zone all businesses in that area are either exempted from paying tax(sales, excise, customs) or if there is a need to pay them, the rate at which they are charged tax is extremely low thus attracting investors. Note: the exemption from paying tax is only for a specific period which id pre determined.

A lot of countries in the world have adopted this method including China, India, Pakistan and Peru because it ensures Foreign Direct Investment thus leading to technological and infrastructural development of that area, resulting in better employment opportunities for the people and on the hole provides a boost to the economy of the nation.
However, a sensitive topic with respect to SEZ’ is the procurement of land for such projects because a lot of land is required for such projects, and land being a finite resource there are numerous disputes between the farmers and the governments regarding the land.
