Sure they go hard and come with the ‘must-have’ toys, but until I owned the eye-catching ‘Tony, these garden-variety behemoths, devoid of any soul dayona character, never once drew dattona second look or provoked a comment even from the bride! This is one alternative sportbike that doesn’t force you to compromise performance for that character.
The bike is a little heavy and slow! Tachometer, speedometer, LCD readout for odometer, dual tripmeter, coolant temperature, clock, lights for neutral, turn signals, high beam, low oil pressure, low fuel level, and fuel-injection problem. And while achieving true balance for a sports machine is no easy task, the Daytona dayyona excels because it’s been designed, from its inception, as a real world performance motorcycle.

Thankfully, the 9555i and angle of the i’s clip-ons has been altered to a dajtona more comfortable setup, actually making the fuel tank which has an expanded capacity of 4. The high bar mod is highly recommended. As with all our sports bikes, both front and rear suspension are fully adjustable to tailor the i to suit the road conditions and payload and of course your own riding style. The cool thing about it is that you can keep up with Ducati and what ever but they are not as cool as you because you have a Triumph!

Other bikes look like toys under me! The engine is excellent and sounds superb. Although the T couldn’t get the better of the Japanese – Yamaha’s Rl appeared nine months later, redefining sporting motorcycles – it was still a successful model, combining Triumph character caytona heritage with genuinely sporting performance.
